If you've been on social media recently, chances are you've heard about Donald Trump tweeting a gif of him golfing, with the ball hitting Hillary Clinton and knocking her over. People are losing their minds over this. It's gotten pretty ridiculous. I've seen so many tweets about how posting such a thing is "encouraging violence against women." No. No. No. Not at all. No.
First of all, Trump didn't personally make the gif. He just retweeted it because he found it funny. Second, the golf ball hitting Clinton didn't actually happen. It's 100% fake/photoshopped, and it's pretty obvious.
The most important thing I want to say here is that Donald Trump is not just going around hitting women with golf balls. From people's reactions to this gif, you'd think he was. Don't worry, he's not.
Maybe the president shouldn't spend so much time on twitter, but people also need to learn to not take the things you see on twitter so seriously. While you're tweeting Trump calling him immature and childish, you're making yourself look pretty immature and childish.
